This sensor "looks" for anything inside the oven before heating. For example, when you go to preheat your oven the sensors automatically detect any object in there and will beep at you and also indicate it on the screen. I don't know about you, but I have put something in the oven that was not meant to be there and next time I went to heat it, not realizing the thing is still in there, and moments later I smelled a burning smell and then opened the oven only to find the object burned for good. With this sensor, that would never happen again and this would also be a fire safety feature too!!Reward: Getting the product free!
Basically a manual cheese grater, but with a set of clamps on the sides of it so that it can be mounted to a bowl. They would be adjustable so that they can be mounted to nearly any size bowl and will not have both your hands tied up in trying to hold the shredder and run the cheese on it.Reward: Notoriety
I wish I had a device that would make it easy for one person to open and close the kind of expandable dining room table that has leaves (boards) that can be added to the center. I'm picturing some kind of gear mechanism that would help two pairs of padded wooden blocks to push the closed table halves apart, after they'd been slightly separated initially by padded wedges. The same gears could be used to close the table using cords with padded clamps at the ends. The cords would be wound up as the halves of the table came together. A fair amount of force would be required for both operations, since many tables are set on carpeting that makes it difficult for the halves to slide, even if they're on wheels.Reward: I really really need one!
It seems the only parts of a dishwasher that couldn't be folded down are the heating and washing elements. A folding-dishwasher could consist of a heat-resistant cover of waterproof fabric stretched over a collapsible frame. The frame would include tracks for racks to slide out of. The racks would also be collapsible. The cover would have a watertight slide-lock zipper to close up the dishwasher before running. Heating and jet elements and spaces for detergent would be on the bottom in a tray. Electric cords and water tubes would enter through sealed holes on the bottom in the back. This would be good for people in small homes or RVs or for others to use as an auxiliary dishwasher when their dirty dishes won't all fit in their regular dishwasher.Reward: A free one.
I have a handheld blender/cake mixer/dough mixer from Braun that could be improved upon. I don't see even see this product (or anything like it) anymore on Amazon.com, where I found it. Hopefully someone could bring back a product with these features, plus the features I describe below. Alternatively, maybe someone could make aftermarket attachments for hand blenders with adapters for different models. There are a number of places on hand blenders and their attachments that can be hard to reach to clean. I would prefer a hand blender with a removable blade on the blending attachment as cleaning underneath this blade can be difficult when attached. I'd also like a food chopping blade with a shaft that doesn't have any hard to reach or unreachable yet exposed spaces inside it. I have yet to find anything that can reach inside the shaft of my food chopping blade, where I see funk has collected. While there is a hand held automatic shredder/slicer (the salad shooter), no one has combined such a device with a hand blender. I would like to see this done. There are probably other attachments that could be made for a hand blender, perhaps the many attachments for KitchenAid stand mixers could serve as inspiration.Reward: A free one.
