World News in a Sandpit Printer Friendly Version
Most psychologists would probably agree that grownups don't REALLY exist. As we grow older, we simply pretend that our behavior is more rational than it was when we were still sitting in the sandpit, but in fact, while the sandpit has changed, we really haven't: Most of what so-called grownups do really just comes from the same emotional motivation that they had when they were really, really small.
What I'd like to see is a satirical news show that doesn't collaborate in enhancing the self-importance of public figures, and which doesn't pretend that there is some deeper meaning to their behavior, when so often there isn't. In that show, the daily news would be reenacted by preschool children, and so viewers could more easily understand what's REALLY going on. The likes of Kim Jong-un, Angela Merkel, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Donald Trump and so forth would be portrayed as the (unpopular) kids which they really are deep inside, highlighting in their quest for attention, love and respect.

By Appointment to The Homeless Printer Friendly Version
Ever since I've been a kid, I've been wondering about that "By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen" logo that you can find on so many products of the English-speaking world. Does SHE really need that many products? And above all - why should I care?
I propose introducing an entirely different logo: "By Appointment to The Homeless". Now that's something I might actually be interested in. It indicates that the product is actually given away to those in need (for FREE of course). Of course this would have to be monitored somehow to prevent abuse, but after all, the "By Appointment to Her Majesty" thing is surely monitored as well, so maybe those people can take care of the other logo as well, then they'd be doing something useful for a change.

VRF Virtual Reality freedom Printer Friendly Version
A suggestion to reward prisoners for good behaviour with jaunt camera system VR experiences. Would a long term prisoner control his behaviour with the reward of a once-a-month/week jaunt VR experience according to his tastes?
For one prisoner it may be standing on the terraces watching a Chelsea Manchester football match, for another a mountain experience, for another a baseball game etc. If the VR experience included some short interactive learning material mid experience with a blu-tooth remote? The same technique could be used for long term bed ridden hospital patients, to keep their minds fired up and to raise morale.
Reward: free for the greater good
