Advanced skills nurturingPrinter Friendly Version
In China and Russia, amongst others kids with a talent are taken and are taught to use this talent to the fullest. Some of the worlds greatest painters, musicians, athletes, mathmaticians, etc. have been made this way.
Schooling in the UK produces boring unremarkable individuals with mediocre skills. I would suggest all children should have the same education however some talented and hard working kids should be offered an education with a specialisation. These kids should be taught a subject to an extremley advanced level. Later in life these people with advanced skills should find it alot easer to get sponsorship to universities and ill always have the advanced skill to fall back on.
Reward: Brighter more interesting people would be the reward.

The Power of FreePrinter Friendly Version
The internet has set information free to anyone who desires it. Intellectual property is going to soon become a thing of the past.
I believe the next step for the internet to help create a better global society is for a commerce managing database/search engine to be created where there is no currency and things are traded on the basis of desire. jobs are created on the basis of necessity. Everyones skills and interests are known by this database, and they will be suggested tasks or jobs based on where there is a necessity for their work.
Until we break away from the controlling and negatie power of an arbitrary money system (the people who control money supplies control the world), we will never be free.
Reward: Utopia?

4-Day Work WeekPrinter Friendly Version
Virtually all of the discussions on how to reduce gas consumption and traffic congestion involves increasing the supply: Pump more oil, refine more gasoline, build more roads, more busses, new transit systems.
Yes, we need to do those things and more; but, we can make faster, highly effective gains with very little cost through a relatively painless adjustment in our livestyles. Let's institutionalize the 4-day work week.
Here's what it can do:
*Reduce commuting traffic by as much as 20%
*Reduce gasoline consumption and smog from automobiles by a similar amount.
*Give many families the opportunity to spend more time together, including many 3-day weekends.
*Car engines and tires will last much longer.
Here's what it cost:
*Local, regional, state, and federal bureaucracies will have to spend time and energy devising schedules.
*Some agencies and businesses will probably have to remain on the 5-day work week. Schools are one example.
*Longer work days might pose too much difficulty for some families.
Several states are already devising plans for the 4-day work week. Looking at the concept on a national scale might be very beneficial for our country.

Fake Speed CameraPrinter Friendly Version
Many people would like to have a speed camera in their neighbourhood. This will contribute to a safer environment for the kids, because the cars that pass by will slow down. Why not make a speed camera look a like, that people could set up.

Reusable Flexable Water Proof Washable Leather Grocery BagsPrinter Friendly Version
Here in America we use reusable material bags to be eco-friendly but, I think in the long run we need to produce a thin leather grocery bag that can be treated to be water proof and still be flexable. Just an idea. We get money savings for just bring our own bags too the store to not waste the enviroment.
Reward: Leather last for ever!!!
