Telepresence Hologram Printer Friendly Version
Commuting to work requires too much time. It would be nice if I could have a telepresence hologram that I could walk around the office with. It would give me audio and video and I could use it to type my commands onto the computer at work. For example, if I type something on my computer at home the telepresence would enter it in the computer at work.
The hologram would be an image of me in a dress suit (even if I'm in my underpants) and could stand or sit, and if I desire, imitate my own movements at home. I could go to meetings and the hologram would sit in a chair and talk and look around the room. I could perhaps even have greater scope of vision because I could use the telepresence hologram to look in all directions.
This invention would save millions of hours in commuting time.
Reward: A free telepresence hologram would be nice so I could use it at work.

Cigarette Pack Bottom Cigarette Pusher Printer Friendly Version
Like chap stick and lip stick you can't use them until you can get them to the surface. If each cigarette had a bottom that you could push the cigarette up then you could easily remove them (or one) from the pack. Right now you can't get the first or second cigarette out without dumping the whole pack out or squishing the cigarettes around the one you want until you've removed about the first five making room for any sized fingers to grab one out. We just provide a cicular segmented bottom under each cigarrete that extends below each one and you push up on the bottom of the one you want. Each cigarette gets it's own push up piece!
Easily implimented and manufactured at minimal cost since the materials need not be of any other product they don't already have readily available, such as the type of card board type paper used in hard pack cigarettes or any other material they have now. This would work on packs of gum and other tightly packed items.
Reward: To have these bottoms on all brands and pack types.

Device to open/close expandable dining table Printer Friendly Version
I wish I had a device that would make it easy for one person to open and close the kind of expandable dining room table that has leaves (boards) that can be added to the center. I'm picturing some kind of gear mechanism that would help two pairs of padded wooden blocks to push the closed table halves apart, after they'd been slightly separated initially by padded wedges. The same gears could be used to close the table using cords with padded clamps at the ends. The cords would be wound up as the halves of the table came together. A fair amount of force would be required for both operations, since many tables are set on carpeting that makes it difficult for the halves to slide, even if they're on wheels.
Reward: I really really need one!
