Web-based distributed payment Printer Friendly Version
A website that allows groups of people to enter into a contract to distribute payments from a single source according to a simple percentage scheme. For example, if a creative product developed by a group was sold on the web, the resulting payments would be made through this website to a common account for the product, but then distributed to the individuals in the group automatically. This is similar to Paypal, but with the automatic distribution system, it allows long-term collaborations that do not require communication or futher negotiation between the group members. The site would include a notification of all group members that a payment had been made, the total, and the individual member's share. It would allow group members to change information about contact, login, and destination of payments. It would require input from all group members to change percentages or other terms of the agreement made for the group's project.

Modular power generation. Printer Friendly Version
This idea is based on very old tried and true principles of physics. Hydroelectric power has been around for a long time. The man who invented the modern world, Nicola Tesla, also invented a very novel turbine. Imagine the average home owner putting a large low slung water tank on top of their house. A 2 inch ID pipe descends 8 feet into a Tesla Turbine. The Tesla Turbine outlet goes into another tank. At the top of the upper tank is a sensor that turns the water valve to open. At a point lower is a sensor to turn the valve closed. Elevated water = energy. The Home owner invests enough money to trickle charge the system at first. A small pump powered by some solar cells will pump water back to the top tank. The generator will only run when the upper tank is full and turns off when there is insufficient water pressure. This won't run continuously at first but it will run a meter backwards enough times during the month to save a significant portion of money on electricity. The savings can be applied to more water pumping devices. I have a slew of ideas for those. Stirling engines powered by parabolic mirrors, bales of hay, the difference in temperature between ambient and 6 ft under, etc. Make the devices modular and readily addable. Over time, by adding pump modules to the system, the home owner will have continuous free power. Since this technology does not depend on expensive batteries or fuel cells it is cheap enough for most people to afford readily without loans. Because it is modular it is feasible to be done by most home owners in the developed world.
Reward: Continuous free power. What more can one ask for? Ok, I would like a job in the industry created. That would be great!

Couch-Chair-bed Combination Printer Friendly Version
A couch-chair that has both the qualities of a couch and a chair. Instead of a flimsy recliner, where it holds up your feet on a lift, you have a total feeling of comfort, where the whole unit is one connected piece and goes from the floor to your body and feet, insuring that it will never break and you can jump in and out of it at will. You would still have arms on the chair, but never have to worry about bringing up the foot rest. It is all ready there. When you add an extra long solid foot rest than you get a couch-chair-bed, that you can sleep in at any time for one person snuggly. The point is, you would never have to buy another chair because this one does it all and never breaks. It works to do everything any other piece of furniture does, but takes up less space and you can arrange them around the room like a sorrounding couch, only better.
Why not buy four, or one for each person. A great gift and very comfortable. The whole couch-chair-bed just looks like a long arm chair and is atractive in all rooms. You can add all the recliner features to the back and lay flat and/or have a wall hugger unit.
