Choose your path/ interactive history book Printer Friendly Version
Always loved the "Choose your own adventure" books. Very much fiction but I thought it would be great to have a book with the same format but your decisions/choices would be ones that our world leaders are currently faced with, were faced with and the book would lead you to a path that was exactly what had happened or something totally different as a result of not choosing the choices that actually were made from these power figures.
Or if you chose a different path what may have happened as a result?
Think about it. What if Hitler was shot, what if the bomb was not dropped on Hiroshima, what if Abe Lincoln had not signed the Emancipation Procalamation?, what if a decision made resulting in the South winning the War?
Would the world come to an end? Would there be a different world power, what if Castor was succesfully killed during the Bay of pigs invasion? etc. etc. This could be applied to so many world (past and present) decision making points that could really have changed or will change our way of life.
Reward: Not sure but would love to read them

Highly Configurable Wheeled Carrying Device Printer Friendly Version
I would like a cart that I can use both on the bus and as a trailer behind my bike. In thinking about this it occurred to me that one could make several different kinds of carrying devices from a few different pieces that could be configured into different frames to support different fabric carriers. Such a device could be configured to make not just a cart and bike trailer, but a stroller, hand cart, dolly, sled and more. Some fabric carriers could be made to be used with more than one frame configuration.
The frame pieces would be made of steel tubing, like round metal conduit pipe. I imagine two rectangular pieces with rounded corners and two long and four short straight pieces. The straight pieces would connect to the rectangular pieces and each other with a joint. The joint, made of molded ABS plastic would be two pieces that would be screwed together onto a piece. Something similar to this would be used to attach wheels and swiveling wheels (a must for a cart) or other attachments such as sled runners or even a motorized stair climber (I would really like this attachment). A pin would extend out from the piece into the joint (or wheel base) to keep it from rotating or sliding. The joint would allow the ends of pieces to fit into it securely at three different angles. Pieces would lock into the joint when a pin near the end of the piece would expand into place in the joint. A means of releasing the pin would be incorporated into the joint.
The fabric carriers would slide onto or velcro around the pieces before the structure is configured. After all the pieces are locked into place the device would be ready to use.
Reward: A free or significantly discounted one.

Human Auction Site Printer Friendly Version
Don't worry - not what the title may suggest. I propose a site from which members could share abilities. For example: I am in a band. We have made a record, but we need some album art. So in return, we search for an artist to some album art. The artist could be given our music free. Alternatively, a proprietary currency could be used which could be exchanged according to the difficulty/length of the task. This money could be exchanged for real money, allowing people to make money with the site. Bids could be made, with the task going to the lowest bidder.
Alternatively, you could help people by offering services free to everyone/certain people, with awards for the most 'charitable'. All sorts of services, from proofreading to instructional/teaching services could be exchanged. It could also provide a marketplace for independant music/films/literature without publishers etc.
Reward: Would like to be kept informed of any progress, maybe even have the option of collaborating.
