Managing parking slots : reserve Printer Friendly Version
We manage parking slots in a first come first use policy. This idea change it to reserve and use.
Combine with network, the parking slots are allocated with reservation. This have many benefits:
1. No waste of time and gas.

2. You may always plan for a best route before.

3. No parking meters required. Just a networked reserved system.

4. Works well even on high demand situation, in a sport event, every body reserve their parking slots, and people can not reserve one have no hope.

5. Never forgot where you park your car
The key success of this scheme is police strictly and promptly remove cars that occupy un-reserved parking slot.
After the discipline develops, people will adapt to the new system.
When you want to go out, you may not have a specific destination, when you want to park into a slot, check it with your car computer or a mobile phone, if it is available then you reserve it and park, if it is not, you were suggest a secondary choice, then you may reserve and park.
When you reserve a parking slot, you enter the time you want it. You release the parking slot when you do not need it. You pay for the cost during. A monthly bill will sent to you and you pay it as your electrict bill.
In case of car parks with entry control, it can be issue a reservation on the spot. The reservation will allocated the nearest parking slot for you.

BOOT AND HAND DRYERS IN TRUCKS Printer Friendly Version
These would be optional equipment on any variety of pick-up trucks and Catepillar Tractors, all the way up to the mega-large above ground strip-mining and underground lead mining equipment. This would be excellent for workers primarily in cold, wet environments where nothing stays dry..AND EVERTHING IS COLD. Road and contruciton crews would love these. A person has two pairs of boots and gloves. One he wears to work dry the other dry pair he puts on the low noise, fan driven, low energy, low heat dryer for a warm pair of dry gloves or boots to slip into when his first pair are wet and frigid. While there are 'plug in to the lighter' warmers, these tend to be cheap plastic and loud. A rugged, quality product is what is needed in this environment. One approved safe and effective by the men who use it. The units simply have to be after-marketed into a convenient spot in the vehicle. Cost is negligible compared to the increase of work productivity when a person has warm tootsies and can actually grip with warm fingers.
Reward: I'd like knowing that when I'm at home, the men who do the real work have some comforts that actually help them be safe, efficient and happy. If there is one working man out there with cold feet and hypothermic hands, my day is ruined!

Motorcycle Helmet w/ Built In MP3 Player Printer Friendly Version
I think it would be nice to have a motorcycle helmet with an iPod adapter mounted directly on the back of it, so when passengers are riding with you, they can watch a movie, or listen to music. Simple, yet ideal.
Reward: I would like one and also be credited as the inventor of this product!
