Scanner Laptop Printer Friendly Version
A scanner can be very useful. Especially as new technology makes scanners better, they come in very handy. But their are big and bulky. And if you have a laptop and you need to scan in documents on while on a 10 hours plane ride, forget it. I propose a laptop with a scanner built into the top of it. Help me out if you got any technical ideas to make this work, but it will be a flip top with a scanner underneath, that when scanned gets transfered directly to your hard drive. Makes life easier, and Americans love two-in-ones.
Reward: lifetime supply of foot-long beef hot dogs.

Computing on the move Printer Friendly Version
The idea is, as i'm sitting here using a wireless laptop i thought why hasn't anybody invented a laptop with mobile phone technology built in. Not one of these small palm computers but a full size laptop. Wireless internet access is the way forward for sure.
Reward: a laptop

Battery powered WI/FI HDD in a fireproof box Printer Friendly Version
Let's face it, if your like me one of your most prised possesions is the contents of your computer. It would be nice to have all that data stored in a fire proof box. It could be called "The Black Box".
If anything happened, or even if your computer was stolen; everything would be protected. 120 GB would be nice.
Plus a softwear package that would (how should I say this) Officalize offical documents would be nice. That way you could re-print offical documents.
Plus make sure it is water tight. So it floats. Or make it sinkable and throw it in your septic tank. No one will steal it then. But then again you will never replace your batteries.
Or make it solar power, Microwave transmitable, with a GPS locator, ship it to NASA, and have them throw it out to
SPACE. I think that's safe.
Reward: The product of course. The later the better.
