| Inside Pockets for women's clothing 
Am I the only woman who has noticed that fashionable women's clothing hardly ever has inside pockets, which are the most secure place to stash stealables such as cash, passports, and credit cards? A line of stylish skirts, dresses, and coats with ample pockets inside the garment could replace the purse as a container for valuables and help deprive pickpockets and purse snatchers of their current wealth of opportunity. No suit jacket or coat should ever be without them, but they also ought to be in skirts and slacks, and they should be made of extremely heavy fabric. Reward: A couple of good suits equipped with numerous inside pockets.

| Better Baby Shoes
I don't think there's ever been a baby who's worn out his or her shoes before their feet grew too big to need a new pair. One way to get more use out of the shoes, especially those used only for special occasions like patent leather mary janes or wingtips, would be to make them expandable. A small dial set into the sole could be turned to make the shoes a little longer and wider as the child grew. This might encourage people who were standing on the fence because the cost/use equation didn't look too good to get off the fence and buy a pair. Shoe manufacturers would have to answer a tough economic question though - would the larger market offset the sales that were lost due to less shoes being bought? Reward: None required

| Downey Hangers
Here's a quick idea someone could make some money off of. The paper that comes on hangers from the cleaners is called a cape. People seem to like the fresh scent that fabric softeners add to their clothes so cleaners could offer scented caped hangers as an optional item. That way the scent would stay with the clothes a lot longer. (There could be other scents too, but you probably wouldn't want to mix too many of them together in one closet.) Reward: No reward required.
