Wild Crier Printer Friendly Version
The Wild Crier would be used to protect your home from a wild fire. Instead of a sprinkler system inside the house, this one would be set up on the exterior of the building. Sprinkler heads would be placed in various positions outside the house. There would be heat sensors on the perimeter of the property that would prompt the sprinklers to douse the house in water or flame retardant chemicals before the fire reaches the house. Alarms would also notify police, fire, and relatives of the situation.
Reward: To save one house from burning

Oven Camera Printer Friendly Version
My idea is to have a camera in the oven and on the vent above open face ranges that is linked to televisons and or computer monitors in other rooms so one can view food cooking while sitting on the couch or at a desk on a computer. This would help with accuracy as well as safety.

Driveway/walkway ice remover Printer Friendly Version
How many of you have seen the sprinkler systems watering lawns in the summer? Well, take that same idea and have the sprinklers lightly misting sidewalks and roadways with a brine solution. I know it will not work under a certain temperature but at least I will not have to get out and shovel. You could modify the sprinkler heads to run in series at a low pressure ( which the brine will not freeze) and when a sensor detects a snowfall, the pressure raises allowing the sprinkler heads to activate.
Reward: 4 goody gum-drops and one of these systems.
