Smart Dryer Printer Friendly Version
I'm a guy and I wash my own clothes. I wash my clothes at any time during the day, including at night. I don't mind if they are wrinkly. I like to set the timer on my clothes and then go to sleep. Sometimes when I check them the next day, even sometimes after a few days, I find that they are still damp. This is terrible for my clothes and I sometimes rewash them after I have left damp clothes in the dryer too long. I find damp clothes in the dryer about one out of every three times I do laundry. I could always leave them in longer but I don't want to always over dry them, which I believe isn't good for the fabric. So what if companies made dryers that determined on its own how long each load should take to dry and then automatically turn off? This could prevent my loads from being damp some of the time, without possible damaging my clothes by drying them too long.

Couch-Chair-bed Combination Printer Friendly Version
A couch-chair that has both the qualities of a couch and a chair. Instead of a flimsy recliner, where it holds up your feet on a lift, you have a total feeling of comfort, where the whole unit is one connected piece and goes from the floor to your body and feet, insuring that it will never break and you can jump in and out of it at will. You would still have arms on the chair, but never have to worry about bringing up the foot rest. It is all ready there. When you add an extra long solid foot rest than you get a couch-chair-bed, that you can sleep in at any time for one person snuggly. The point is, you would never have to buy another chair because this one does it all and never breaks. It works to do everything any other piece of furniture does, but takes up less space and you can arrange them around the room like a sorrounding couch, only better.
Why not buy four, or one for each person. A great gift and very comfortable. The whole couch-chair-bed just looks like a long arm chair and is atractive in all rooms. You can add all the recliner features to the back and lay flat and/or have a wall hugger unit.

Meal Cooking Machines Printer Friendly Version
One thing all humans need every day is food. Buying and then cooking your own food can take up several hours each day. What if we made a machine that cooked every meal for you and then automatically restocked itself? To save money, the machine would first be marketed to small neighborhoods or the rich. It would contain an assortment of meals as voted by its users. Though it would only cook one or two different foods each meal. At first these machines would create simple meals like pasta and hot dogs. When the machines become more complex they might cook chicken, soups, salads and breads. Automatic machines would restore each ingredient when it becomes low. It would do this by using the internet to place an order. The order could be processed by other machines that would restock the low ingredients. Some of the ingredients could be refrigerated or frozen to keep for a longer time. While the techology to make this system may be available, to actually create it would be hard.
Reward: Notify me if you make this system. Good luck!
