The "Real" Sexiest Woman/Man Alive Printer Friendly Version
Instead of the People magazine version of this contest that just picks the sexiest man or woman alive from a small group of famous people, why not have a real contest that matches up the girl next door vs Megan Fox?
There could be a public voting system that let's you vote on celebrities head to head and regular women/men head to head. The 10 or 12 real people with the most votes and the 10 or 12 celebrities with the most votes at the end of the year would move into a vote-off round that pits them up against each other (celebrities vs celebrities and real people vs real people) until you are left with one celebrity and 1 real person.
Then they would meet in a vote-off for the sexiest man/woman alive. Could be done with a separate contest for men and women.
Reward: Elect me the first year's honorary sexiest man alive!

Closed Captioning On Back of Chair in Movie Theater Printer Friendly Version
Deaf People or Hard of Hearing People would like to be able to go to movies in movie theatres, but can't because the movie doesn't have closed captioning or can't understand what's going on in the movie. So I came up with an idea of maybe having the closed captioning on the back of the movie chair, so it doesn't bother the hearing people. Or if we came up with glasses like 3D glasses that have closed captioning in them, so it doesn't bother the hearing people. Deaf/Hard of Hearing people need to be able to go into movie theatres and watch movies like anybody else would. I know this because I am Hard of Hearing myself.

Convertible Knitting Needles Printer Friendly Version
For those of you who don't knit, let me give you a brief description of the problem. Knitting needles are not just the two sticks normally associated with the craft. Knitters also need five double pointed needles, circular needles (two needles connected by a string), and occasionally a pattern calls for a crochet hook, as well. This can get rather annoying, especially if the nearest supply store is 30 miles away.
So, instead of an ever growing pile of knitting needles, how about interchangeable pieces that screw on and off of a set of base sticks? For example, if I want to shorten a set of regular sized needles, I would just unscrew the lower parts of the needles and replace them with a shorter end. Let's say that a pattern calls for a circular needle part way through. No problem! Just screw on the ends connected by a string.
Reward: A set in every size
