Extreme Solar Power Printer Friendly Version
For some time we have had the ability to manufacture huge lenses. We also have computers and software that could make this idea happen. For a prototype, why not construct a large glass lens maybe 12 feet in diameter. Mount it about 30-50 feet above the ground. The base would be round and by computer be able to move round and up and down; tracking the sun 365 days of the year.
The intense heat created by this large magnifying glass could be focused on some hybrid turbine and or steam generator. I imagine it would spit out a lot more heat than windmills. If it worked you could build a real big one.

Voice controlled calculator Printer Friendly Version
I am tired of using the scientific calculators in my classrooms and every time I use it for large equations, it says "syntax error" or gives me wrong answers. So I have come up with the idea of controlling a calculator by our voice. Prerecorded commands installed in the calculator helps us to calculate anything by just stating equation. The digits are split according to time and we would use a software called voxox to make it happen.. I have a slide of how it is gonna work.
Reward: I guess my idea would bring great satisfaction in time and answers for the users. "HAPPY CALCULATING"
