Solar Sphero Plow Printer Friendly Version
Hows this for an idea - a small metal ball (maybe 1' x 1') with spikes (2-7" each) to plow your yard for you (think of the agricultural purposes!) that runs off of solar energy! You can put a chip into it that makes it run for a certain distance (say, 100 meters), turn about a foot, and come back, then repeat until you use a remote to click it off! You can even put seeds in a container inside and have it automatically plant them at whatever distance you tell it to (retractable/extendable spikes?) I know NOTHING about agriculture, this is something I thought of for a history project! Whatcha think, is it doable?
Reward: As many Solar Sphero Plows as you can afford to give me, and any other agricultural tools you make from this! Or a lifetime supply of bagels.

Alerting Pickpocket Device Printer Friendly Version
Sew a strip of 'Velcro' or 'Hooks and Loops' to the inside portion of a purse, or jacket or coat lining, while doing this insert the string and ring end of a ALARMING device that is accuated with the 'pull string'. Then glue the 'Opposing strip' to your 'money holding' device and secure the 'alarm string' underneath the strip and attach the alarm to the string. When the string is pulled out, the ALARM sounds and the THIEF is discovered and the alarm is still sounding and goes with him. Or he realizes that he is 'discovered' and tosses the wallet or purse away! and it's recovered!
Reward: To be made apart of the developing project and be named as the devices creator.

Use-that-other-wall gadget Printer Friendly Version
There's this big fat wall sitting in front of my kitchen window (it's probably the same wall you have in front of your toilet window, or someone else can see from his sleeping room window).
"My" wall is only a couple of feet away from the kitchen window, but it's far enough so I can't touch it when I lean out of the window (and I wouldn't want to try it as Im living on the fourth floor). Still the wall really looks like I should make some cool use of it. If the wall was made of steel, I could use huge magnets and put my shopping lists up there (just like other people do on their fridge doors). Technically I could always write down the shopping list on a piece of paper, stick it in a beamer and project it against the wall, but that's not really the convenience I'm looking for (also it would constantly use up energy). So what I need is a cool idea how I can use that "other" wall which isn't my property and where I'm not allowed to use screws or nails.
