Digital Home Hi-Fi Printer Friendly Version
I want to put an Audio CD into a device that sits on my bookshelf. A CD player. A CD player that could be a single unit or part of a compact Hi-Fi unit. I want the CD to play and record to a hard disk and be stored internally on the device. I want the CD title, author, artist, tracks etc to be stored on the device so I can replay the CD again later without having to put the original back in again.
Sure, this is not a new idea, and MP3 players and CD recorders are available on the market today, but where is the simple device. Put in CD. Play and record to Hard disk. Simple, small device on my bookshelf. Store 1000 CDs and protect my collection. CDs don't last forever especially with kids!
I would pay $1000 for such a machine, say a Denon or Sony device that was simple and easy to use. Is there one out there? I can't find one. Internal Hard Drives these days are small in size and big on storage. 40GB would cover it, surely. Look at Digital video recorders like the Tivo or Sky+ systems. Am I behind the times or is there a device out there already?
Reward: I just want one!

Multi-Purpose Hot Dog/Hamburger Loaves Printer Friendly Version
Using the same formula as is used when making hot dog or hamburger buns, you could make a multi-use loaf of standard looking bread but, with the hot dog hamburger formula and add in all that is needed to make the loaf of square bread work with hamburgers and hot dogs at the same time. You know that when we shop for bread we usually buy the regular kind and forget the hot dog and hamburger buns then we use the regular bread for hot dogs and hamburgers. Why not make all buns in loaves of bread that you could make everything out of from peanut butter and jelly to hamburgers. One type of standard loaf of bread with the hot dog and hamburger formula that would work with any sandwhich or anything else you would use bread for. More convienent than buying a bunch of buns and regular bread and it would save money and time and storage space. Hot dog and hamburger buns are expensive. We need to combine breads. We could use different hot dog and hamburger bun recipes and have dark or white or rye or any kind of bread/bun.

A Seperate Card To Store Credit/Debit Purchases On Printer Friendly Version
Have you ever forgotten to save a receipt from a card purchase and then you can't balance your check book? Rather than having online banking you could simplify this part of the process by having one card instead of ten to twenty web sites for each card, that can be swiped through right after your purchase card (Visa/Master Card) that would record all your amounts of your purchases and what they were (all the information). Then you swipe it at home on a home version of the store's computer and it all comes up with all the info for every card.
The small card swipping equipment could Plug and Play into simple software for reading and permanent storage on your home PC or Mac. Plus, now Tax laws make us save receipts for end of year taxes and we probably always will have to save them but, if we used this card and software then we could submit all the receipts all at once instead of 10 to twenty hours of paid work or a serious problem doing it yourself. An easy way to balance your check book weather it is online banking (the software could be compatible) or the paper kind and no hassle hanging onto to hundreds of pieces of paper in shoe boxes collecting all year long.
Reward: The look on my face when I see it being used!
