| Ultimate Credit Card Security 
Lets introduce a paging device to empower the user of the card, the device which will be two way communication enabled (similar to a pager) small-size (that of a key chain) will establish a direct link between the customer and the bank from which the money is drawn. Whenever a transaction is attempted the bank sends the page to the device describing the transaction briefly eliciting a response from the user. On positive identification of the transaction (the user selects yes) and sends the signal back to the bank, the bank then continues the transaction, money being credited. In event of an unidentified transaction, the user simply says no and declines it. The bank cancels the merchants request and further takes action to seize the culprit who initiated the fraudulent transaction. Advantages of the above approach
1. the security is divided into two levels viz. card-level (cvv,cvv2) and the comm. device level (2 way communication btw bank and customer)
2. The card user is empowered and hence gathers faith.
3. Misuses reduced to zero.
4. In event of losing the card, the user is rest assured that the card is immune to fraud attacks.
5. Undue wastage of time, money and precious resources in legal hassles (both at the bank side and the side of creditcard user) are eliminated.
6. Potential Savings : Approx 80 million $ (global figure calculated annually) money scam via creditcardReward: a safe Credit Card transaction everytime

| The Power of Free
The internet has set information free to anyone who desires it. Intellectual property is going to soon become a thing of the past. I believe the next step for the internet to help create a better global society is for a commerce managing database/search engine to be created where there is no currency and things are traded on the basis of desire. jobs are created on the basis of necessity. Everyones skills and interests are known by this database, and they will be suggested tasks or jobs based on where there is a necessity for their work. Until we break away from the controlling and negatie power of an arbitrary money system (the people who control money supplies control the world), we will never be free.Reward: Utopia?

| Portable solar umbrella
Having recently spent a bunch of time in some of the world's hottest deserts, I wonder why no one has marketed a portable solar umbrella hooked up to a drinks cooler, or small cooling fan, or one of them electric cooling collar contraptions. Googling for 'solar umbrella' points to large unwieldy umbrellas good for patios and backyards - hardly convenient for hauling around. Making these should be a no-brainer. You'd have to fix flexible solar panels on top of a folding umbrella, and run a wire through the handle. I bet somebody with a low cost production facility already making umbrellas could easily adopt this and do a pilot batch. You'd start by marketing in the Sky Magazine and the like, hopefully, it catches on to start mass production.Reward: I'd personally test one of these in the Atacama Desert in Chile next July (a week long 250km ultra run).
