The Greatest Video Game Eva!Printer Friendly Version
Do you love animals? Tell me...how many times have you brought a game and the graphics were lame? Well think of this new game as reality. You can actually help the animals. Just think that in this game you could deliver animal babies, give pets shots and you could do just about anything a vet could. And get this: you could even go to school where you learn new interesting facts about the job as a vet. Now I know to most people this game idea is boring, but others who like animals like me would love this game.( there would be awesome graphics !)
Reward: I can't really offer you anything, sorry. All I can say is that from this game idea there will come a great game that hopefully everyone will love.

Real Action Real Movement Video GamePrinter Friendly Version
A video game like playstation 2 only you would have wrist bands, ancle bands and a waist band that responds to the video game. I think, with technology the way it is so advanced today, you could probably make the bands like a remote control with an invisible laser that is directed toward the TV or the game box. So, instead of being a couch potatoe you are actually getting exercise. If the game requires you to run, you would actually have to jog in place to get it to run or walk. You could make a padded foot runner for those with sensitive feet. If the game requires you to punch, hit, or kick, you would have to get physical and do those moves to make the game work. I know my kids, whom are hyper, love this idea and so do their friends. Our kids are just sitting around not burning any energy, this makes for fat, out of shape adults in the future. I also like playing video games, but often don't play them because of the time consumption and not getting enough exercise.

Scrabble(R) tile collectorPrinter Friendly Version
The Deluxe version of the Scrabble(R) brand word game has an annoying misfeature: at the end of the game, you spend ages picking each letter off the board (because each letter is in its own recessed spot on the board, and because the board doesn't fold in two, like the lower-tech original cardboard board). Turning the board over is a disaster because the letters go all over the place. Solution: a plastic cover that fits nicely over the board (and, ideally, would fit in the original box along with the game). The cover has an open corner so that when you invert the game, with the cover on it, you can pour all the tiles into the tile bag through the funnel-like corner.
Reward: One copy of the Deluxe Scrabble(R) game plus one copy of the tile collector.

1st person shooter/virus scannerPrinter Friendly Version
My idea is to combine a virus scanner with a 1st person shooter (eg: quake). The program could be run in different modes:
1/ Scan your machine for viruses = serious virus scanner with std anti-virus type gui.
2/ Play the built in game independently of virus scanner = self explanitory.
3/ Scan your machine with game front end = Game starts - virus scanner scans your machine in the background while you play the game. The game would be just like any other 1st person shooter - mazes, bad guys, etc. Any viruses found would spawn new "Special Bad Guys" in your vicinity in the maze - a new bad guy for each virus found. The bad guys could have descriptive labels above their heads to signify that they are indeed a virus, and of what variety. When you kill the bad guy, the virus is deleted. At the end of the scan you would have the option to continue the game, or quit. Quitting would automatically delete/cure any viruses that you missed killing off in the game. If your machine is badly infected and there are too many bad guys to kill off - you would be presented with an option to return to the serious antivirus front end to save on system resources.
Reward: Free product and lifetime upgrades

The New Wave of GamingPrinter Friendly Version
every few years a new video game paradigm must be invented to keep people entertained. as time has gone on, we spend more and more time playing games like world of warcraft, everquest, the sims, and so on. i believe that the next step in games is the game that lets you achieve something in real life while you play. it's already showing up in games that are designed to make you smarter or more physically fit.
the idea is this: a game where the quests are for things that real people need done in the real world. the rewards are points towards being able to create your own quests.
for example: fred needs help digging a ditch. he puts up a quest, questers show up and do the work, and he confirms through the game that those particular players did the work. they each get XP that let them put up their own quests for compuer repair, tax work, and so on.
properly presented the game could be made attractive to kids, and the inherent financial advantage should be attractive to adults.
Reward: just let me know it worked.
