My idea is for a dating site where people could play matchmaker. It would basically be a typical dating site with profiles and searching. The major difference would be that people could take two profles from corresponding categories (ie. Men seeking Women and Women seeking Men) and match them up. If the people being matched liked the match they could give the matchmaker a score based on the match. The later matches would be weighted on the score of the matcher. You could also have an option to have a private profile that only friends could macth your profile with others. Like other sites direct email contact would be only with pay accounts. Unlike typical dating sites it would have a higher potential hit count since both singles and people in relationships could use the site. Singles for dating, people in relationships for matching.Reward: Lifetime Account at the site
What is the best job on earth? An actor of corse, he/she can be whatever they want to be, the limit is endless so try this one on. You would say "not another reality tv show..." But listen to this. The prize is a leading role in a high profile Hollywood movie. Ordinary people are selected, each is given the same scene with the same script on different locations with different celeb actors to do the scenes with. The judges are film directors, do one for male and one for female. So they could be a pirate the one day and a doctor the next day. So do you like?
A service desperately needed is a concert reminder service: you create a profile where you enter your location as well as the bands you like, and the system will send you an email as soon as it's known that one of "your" bands is coming to town. Getting an email along the lines of "Hey Steve, we just got word that The Kills will be coming to town next April - secure your tickets now" would be just so much nicer than reading in the newspaper how The Kills rocked the local club this past weekend.Needless to say that anyone providing such a service could earn a ton of money by providing links to ticket companies, so I'm really somewhat surprised that something like this doesn't seem to exist (yet).
I imagine a company that it's job would be to improve the productivity of the employes of large companies, by using sound, image and perfums in the offices. In every office there will be some small speakers that would play soft sounds in low volume such as classical music, sounds of the natures, rivers, sea, trees etc. It would be better to have different music in every office. The images would be on the desktop of their computers and they would appear images of nature and anchient goods or photos from history. The image would appear softly at the beginning and in specific time zones, never in specific times, so to be as unexpected as possible. The perfumes that would smell in specific time zones the office (room) would be such as mud, trees, flowers etc. The important thing in smells and images is to be unexpected in time and in way.All this is hapening to make everybody realize that the company that has this system is really interesting of their employees and has a good social profile. This system will make the job (in the company which uses it) an expirience, an expirience that worths to try, so many people would like to work there not giving many attention to other things (salary, future etc.) but to the quality environment.Reward: An airplane ticket to visit the company that will use it.
Nearly everyone has had the opportunity to try their hand at popular sports such as baseball and basketball. A natural ability is realized in some individuals that is refined and nurtured into greatness. I don’t believe the same can be said for motor sports. Therefore I can imagine that there are many people who may have a natural ability with regards to racing skill that have never had the opportunity to discover and nurture this ability. This is obviously due to the fact that it is relatively easy for a young person to have access to a basketball court or a baseball diamond as opposed to a race track. I have an idea of how a motor sports entity could help to identify certain natural racing abilities in young individuals and it centers on video games as the tool of discovery. As racing simulations have evolved they have become very realistic down to they smallest detail. In fact simulators in general are used for many training programs. The U.S. Army has even financed the production of simulators to train troops and released retail versions as video game recruiting tools. This idea came to me as I watched a friend playing a popular racing simulation video game named “Gran Turismo.” I had played the game quite a bit myself but I was surprised at the skill this person had with the game. He raced the virtual car around the track with flawless precision making no mistakes lap after lap. Obviously I’m not implying that he could jump into a real race car and do great things but I sensed that he possessed some of the qualities present in a real race driver including mental stamina, focus, and the ability to follow a racing line and know when to brake and accelerate at exactly the right moment. I believe that if these traits are identified in an individual they could be a potential candidate for further exploration of their abilities including some sort of real driving experience to discover their potential.I think the first place to start would be some sort of large scale racing simulation tournament to find the cream of the crop among individuals with those talents that can be measured in this fashion. There have been organized video game tournaments for some time and I imagine there may be some involving racing simulators but I am personally unaware of any specifically. I believe the inclusion of an opportunity to have a real racing experience would raise the profile of such an event dramatically. One potential avenue could be the production of a reality show or series chronicling the search for future race car drivers. There are entire cable networks dedicated to motor sports and video games that I can imagine would find success in such a venture.I believe this may be a way for a motor sports organization to find racing talent.Reward: I want to drive a real race car
