Distributable Taxes Printer Friendly Version
I think that the government often spends tax money in their own interest. I have a plan called Destributable taxes which will let the tax payers at least controll how some of their money is spent.
Under my idea, the government would get full controll of 3/4ths of your taxes. The government could spend it as they see fit. The last fourth, however, would be distributed to different areas of the government by you. Your tax forms would contain a special form where you could dictate what percent of your remaining fourth goes too. So for instance if one felt that the government was not spending enough money on welfare and too much money on the military, that person could reserve most of their remaining fourth for welfare and spend little or no money on the military. Under my plan the people would then be able to keep government spending in check by chosing how their individual money is spent.
Of course like all new ideas it needs some work. THere are still a few things that would have to be worked out. Besides that though, what do you think of the basic idea?

Silent wake up digital Alarm Printer Friendly Version
This idea comes directly from a need that I have. I often want to get up early, before my roomates do, but any "normal" alarm would wake them up as well. I looked for vibrating wristwatches, but for some reason they say it's not for waking people up. (Maybe people would hurt themselves if they rolled onto it.) And it's also hard to make vibrators that small that also has the needed electronics. So, my idea is some variation of a vibrating alarm, for those people who don't want to wake up their roomates (or spouses). There could be a normal alarm clock that sits on a desk nearby. Also, included in the product would be a wrist-band (it can be big, as long as it's comfortable, if neccessary it could be as big as a hand even, as long as it's comfortable to sleep in). At the time that a person wants to wake up, the desk alarm sends a signal to the wrist-band, that vibrates until the person either wakes and turns the desk-alarm off, or hits the snooze on the desk alarm. Ideally, the vibrating wrist-band would be as quiet as possible, but even a little noise, as long as it doesn't wake others up, would be an improvement on what's already out there.
Reward: I'd like one of the final working products for free, so that I can use it. Also, it would be nice if you don't take credit for the idea, but instead, just take credit for making the idea reality and selling/marketing it. Esepcially if it really takes off. Thanks.

The Carnado Printer Friendly Version
How many times do you spill in the car each week? If you're like most people, they spill several times each week, and if you have kids then several times each day! The carnado is a vac installed in the console, or in your trunk (depending on the type of car) that you can use to clean a spill on the spot! This vac would have a retractable hose, and an easy to empty plastic container which holds the trash. If you're like me and have a bust schedule it's hard to find time to go to the car wash and clean out the car. With the carnado you don't have to wait for the pop to seek into the carpet... you can clean it up right after the spill! This feature could come standard in vehicles making cleaning much more convenient and practical.
Reward: Free Audi TT with the new carnado vac.
