Design your own online accessories Printer Friendly Version
It would be a great idea if there is a website that offers different materials for everything that's out there, like hand bags, jewelery, kids toys, small detail accessories, etc. You could then design it yourself online and they will put it together for you and get it delivered to you.
For example, I could design my own hand bag that would have my own flavor and unique style to it.

Automated self service eye exam Printer Friendly Version
They have machines that do your blood pressure for free, so why not a machine that is for people who have trouble seeing and buy over the counter glasses? Yes, you can go to the eyeglass place and get a free eye exam, but then you have to pay outrages prices for frames. Why can't they have a machine that people can go up to and do a short eye test to see what strength of over the counter glasses they need?
The reason I thought of this is because my husband wears prescription glasses and we can't afford to get another pair right now and medicaid only pays for 1 pair every 5 years for adults. We are not sure what strength of glasses he needs and it would be neat if we could go into a lets say Walmart and he could do a short eye test and get a 5 dollar pair of glasses. This could benefit kids and adults who are rough on glasses and do not want an expensive pair of glasses.

Electronic Home Address Book Printer Friendly Version
I am a mum to a large family. Out old address book is on it's last legs...again. Need an electronic one for phone numbers / addressess / birthdays and any other junk that people keep in there. Yes I know the PDA's or palm tops do the job but I don't need all that organisation (really!!) and they would not be suitable for the whole family to use, bit too whizzy for us.
My mobile phone book is already full with numbers. Yes we have a PC but when all the kids aren't on it, I don't want to power it up for one vital phone number. Amstrad brought out the phone e mailer with a handy pull out mini keyboard but I only need the little keyboard bit... Am I asking too much to make family life a little less stressful?
