Video Party Printer Friendly Version
This may sound nuts. But i have an idea for an invention for parties. Not that we dance or anything at the parties I go to, but what if videos or DVD's were sold of music videos. While they are playing, bright lights flash. Strobes, colors, anything. Kinda a rave thing. But I figure why rent lights or have to make mix CD's most TV's have good sound or a surround sound system. I'm not saying this is going to be popular for epileptics, but everyone else should survive. Just a thought. If you don't think it will work, turn on Cop's turn off the lights in your house, and look at the walls when they pull someone over. It gets pretty bright. Tell me what you think.

Washing line throws Printer Friendly Version
Have you ever just put your washing out and then it starts to rain? When you are going off to work the sky looks good but you never know? Washing line throws for rotary washing lines... Simply made of plastic with a hole in the middle and strategic eyelets to secure it. Takes a second to put on but saves all that unecessary taking in the washing for a short rain shower and give those who go to work peace of mind their washing will be dry on their return.
Reward: not having washing lying around the house and not have to rewash when clothes get left in the rain.

Electric Power Gutters Printer Friendly Version
This plastic replacement downspout would feature small directional water wheels in the gutter and small generators wired together with weather proof wiring on the outside of the downspout. The most electricity would be produced if each descending waterwheel was only allowed to spin in the opposite direction the wheel above it would spin. The generators would have alternating polarity in their generating magnets to create a DC current. This would save an unknown amount on your electric bill, depending on how much it rains. The top of the gutter would need a guard to stop leaves and other debris from entering.
Reward: Installation on a moderate house of my choice.
