Formula One Go-Kart Tracks Printer Friendly Version
Formula One is one giant industry, and software companies make a fortune every year by selling F1 simulation games for PC or Playstation.
It would be fun to have real-life go-kart tracks that are small-scale models of the original F-1 tracks (Imola, Monte Carlo, etc.). I'm sure a lot of people would be happy to pay more just to get an authentic feeling when driving a go-kart. This should obviously be a chain of race tracks, either built in the original locations or even somewhere completely different.
Reward: Free rides for me and a couple of friends.

3D Photo Collaboration Website (e.g. Google earth extension) Printer Friendly Version
First of all, I have to say, that my English is not the best, so please don´t blame me. I thought, if it wouldn´t be great to have a software, that could draw a place or Street in 3D, where I could walk virtual through. Bingo, this is Google Earth in the 3D modus, for example in New York.
The second part of my idea was, that it would be great to walk for example through the 5th avenue in New York and when you look around in your 3D enviroment, you don´t see just grey block, which are standing for the different buildings in the street, as in Goggle Earth. Instead of that, you could take some pictures from the 5th avenue from your last New York trip and pin the photo at the right place in the street in the 3d enviroment. It has to be just the place where you take the photo, so that you could place yourself in front of the virtual photo in the virtual enviroment and see the actual building in front of you. I know, there is a extension for Google earth in combination with flickr.com that does nearly the same, but without the 3D effect. Now imagine, a lot of people would place their different photos from the 5th avenue in the virtual avenue at the right places and in the end you would get a full 3D picture along the 5th avenue.
Now the next dimension: when you get this, wouldn´t it be great if you could find for every picture the year when it was taken. So every contributor of a picture has to find the year for his picture. Then put every picture in relation to the year. Now, if you find enough pictures for the 5th avenue from enough years, you could walk through the street virtual in time (choose the year you want to walk) and space. Beside that it would be a great work of internet collaboration, like a Photo wiki. What do you think?
Reward: Mention my name in combination with the product

Eliminate Media Piracy Printer Friendly Version
When we purchase Hardware that plays electronic Media of any kind, the manufacturer (or distributor/retailer) of the Hardware will have to encode the purchaser's PassKey (Last Name, SSN, etc.) into the Player. When digital media is purchased, the same will happen...the purchaser's PassKey will be encoded into the electronic Media. (Of course they may use their wife's/Friend's/Boss's PassKey if it is a gift.)
The Player will only play the media if the passkeys match. Of course there will be ways for pirate hackers to take a general media, pull the pass code out and insert another one... but if it is a complex enough system they won't want to spend their time working on a hack for weeks when they can just download the song or movie for $5. FileSwapping like Old Napster and Kazaa are then extinct.
If your HardwareKey fails.... go back to the retailer or manufacturer and have it reset or replaced. This is a fairly old idea in software. A Finite Element Analysis package for $15000 comes with a Hardware key. The Software periodically checks the serial port for the hardware key that came with the software...if it isn't there, it doesn't play. When will this technology catch on in entertainment??
Reward: A pat on the back.
