Solar blanket Printer Friendly Version
Solar blankets would be a great invention in places like New York. First of all, a homeless person could easily save for one and still sleep outdoors without losing heat. They would also come in handy on long trips. Simply lay it out in the sun before the night and use it to feel at home on the road. And camping trips! You would lay it out during a time you are hiking or doing some other activity and then have a toasty night. Simply made, almost microscopic solar panels would be stitched into the blanket and absorb solar enerygy.
Is this to complicated and not worth the trouble? And I am just gessing when i say, they would cost quite a bit.

The Power Pourer 2000 Printer Friendly Version
Don't you hate it when you've just come home and you go to pour a glass of milk, and its all the way full? So before you know it, the milk missed the glass and you have another mess to clean up. With this handy invention, you don't even have to use your hands to pour. You simply put the gallon carton in the basket and use the lever to pull down the basket. Its impossible to spill!
Reward: No more sticky stuff to clean up!

Self illuminating strips Printer Friendly Version
Have you seen them traser glowrings? Keyrings that glow in the dark not powered by light -like illuminous paint. They are powered with some kind of radioactive gas in a tiny glass tube that glows for about 10 years.
What I'd like to know is why hasn’t someone thought of sticking these glowsticks in self-adhesive cases that could be stuck in a whole array of usefull places, for example: light switches (see them in the dark), doorlocks on the home and the car – no more fumbling in the dark, hazard points - no more banging your head in the dark. And that's to name but a few applications. Very cheap to make.
Reward: i want some
