Hi Speed Rail System Printer Friendly Version
The U.S. presently has thousands of miles of Interstate Highway right-of-ways. Why not build a hi-speed elevated rail system that crosses the U.S. There is usually plenty of room in the medians. If the system is elevated there would be no need for crossing etc. The system could be built with ready-made concrete and steel components that would be easy to construct. These trains could have speeds in excess of 120 MPH. It could also have cars that would transport the family auto. In addition, it could be a public works project that would employ thousands of people similiar to the TVA and the building of the Hoover Dam.
Reward: I would like to travel across the country on such a train.

MMPORPG for education Printer Friendly Version
An MMPORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) for eduational use.
A role playing game usually consists of doing something (hunting monsters, casting spells, etc...) in order to gain "experience points". With those "experience points", you are able to defeat bigger monsters, travel to distant places, etc...
Well, how about the same thing, only, instead of killing monsters, you would have to figure out problems (quest-based). With each problem solved, you could get rewards such as money or XP, which you can use to purchase vehicles or equipment.

Intelligent Road Signalization Panels Printer Friendly Version
Imagine each road signalization panel equipped with an emitter and each vehicle equipped with a receiver. Suppose you enter a zone i.e. of 50 km/h, the car receives a signal from the panel's emitter warning the conductor to slow down, or, more aggressively, will automatically reduce the speed of the vehicle to the corresponding information received from the panel's type.
