The Only Book You'll Ever Need! Printer Friendly Version
A pocket sized book, resembling a novel - with some important advantages... Instead of paper pages, the pages would be made of a thin, flexible, transparent plastic. There would be approx. 300 pages - small enough to carry around in any situation. This book would be digital. Tiny disks or microchips would be downloaded into a slot on the inner back cover, and the pages would magically turn into the pages of whatever book you downloaded - a Biology textbook, or War and Peace - any book in the world. If the 300 pages are not enough, there would be a "Continue" button the very last page, and when pushed, the remainder of the book would be continued from the first page...and so on, until the end of the book. For students, instead of carrying around heavy texts back and forth from school, they would carry this special book, and a small container of microchips or small disks containing their "books".
Reward: Save the environment - no trees need to be cut for these books! Less back strain from carrying around heavy text. Less waisted space in libraries and home bookshelves - more space for other uses. Very convenient, and practical!

Back And Profile Mirror Printer Friendly Version
A mirror that is as tall as an average adult and has hundreds of mirrors attached to each other (mirrors attached up and down) so that it sits flush to a wall when not in use and can be wrapped entirely around you so that no matter where you look you can see all of yourself 360 degrees. Easy wall hugging storage and easy to implement for usage in wrap around style. Anybody who needs to look nice for any occasion from school to a wedding would love this product. It could be used for privacy when getting dressed as well. The funny part is when your wife asks you "How do I look?" you can literally say "Go look in the mirror." Ha!
Reward: To not have to hold a mirror behind my head to see it!

Hurricane Timeshares Printer Friendly Version
Living in hurricane country we've always got to know what we're going to do when a hurricane comes. For a lot of people that means run like hell. Seems like sticking around would be a lot easier if you could do it safely. That's where this idea comes in. There are several companies in this area who have had the foresight to build their headquarters so they were strong enough to easily withstand a category 4 hurricane. They could make some extra money out of that fact by offering hurricane timeshares. The way it would work is simple - you agree to pay a 10-20 monthly membership fee to get a timeshare. In return, if a storm hits the company lets you stay in their building for the duration of the storm. That would save you the trouble of taking your chances on the road or spending a couple of miserable nights in a school shelter. Membership rates could be increased for those who wanted the company to store a personal supply of water and whatever onsite for them. I'd sign up for a timeshare like this. There are probably a lot of companies that would even pay for the memberships on behalf of their key people so those people would stick around and help get the company get back up on its feet faster. Hospitals should definitely do it for the staff and their family members to keep them around.
Other regions where temporary disaster strike could also offer this kind of timeshare.
