Base computer SatelliteTablet Printer Friendly Version
Have a base computer do all the heavy processing and a Tablet that is just a touch screen display device with enough processing power to communicate with the touch screen and the network interface that talks to the base. Several satellite tablets could work off of the same base computer. The battery life of the tablets would be much improved. The base computer could be something that is connected to the HDTV and also be the DVR. The tablets could be used to play games, surf the internet, watch TV or recorded shows while the rest of the family watches other programming. All communication with the tablet would be over wireless so there would only be a charger connection for the tablet. The base computer could be marketed as a "Google TV" type computer with the tablets and the control interfaces.
Reward: Free product would be nice. Some acknowledgement for the idea would nice.
