Immersive reality for Second Life Printer Friendly Version
Recent research has shown that a simulated out-of-body experience is easily induced by presenting a binocular view of another's surroundings to an observer (see reference 1 below). By presenting slightly different angles to the left and the right eye, a stereoscopic effect can be induced. Second life is a growing online community that would potentially be interested in immersive virtual reality, and there could be money to be made by enhancing their online experience. Using an infrared sensor similar to the Wii remote would provide head tracking to communicate with the software (see reference 2) in a more realistic way.
Ingredients:
1. Binocular display
2. Infrared sensor for head movement tracking simlilar using Wii remote hack. (see reference 2)

Adult Park Printer Friendly Version
I would like to see a theme park made for and only for adults (xxx style). Just think of it for a second. It is unique and it will be the first according to my studies. I myself would love to go to a place like that.
Reward: To be the designer

Automatic Pub Printer Friendly Version
There are several European countries (Ireland, Norway) where you're not allowed to smoke in public bars. However, the law isn't explicitly against smoking in bars, it just says that smoking at the work place is prohibited - and bars are the working places of bar tenders and waiters.
The obvious solution would be to create automatic bars - places where nobody works and you can buy the beer by tossing coins into a slot machine. Or put the barmaids into a plexiglass box where they can breathe fresh air while their customers can smoke. The glass box would have a "beergate" so they could pass out beer without having to breathe the same air.
Reward: Free beer at the pubs
