Taped Baseball Bat Printer Friendly Version
One of the biggest problems in professional baseball is the number of broken bats which very often send bat pieces with sharp edges towards players, coaches and people in the stands. My simple solution is to wrap the bat with strong tape with a couple inch gap. The tape won't effect how hard the ball is hit, but if the bat breaks the pieces will be held together.

Submarine Fitness Grip Ball Printer Friendly Version
A Sports Training Ball for Aqua Athletes.
By setting the amount of water to air ratio inside the ball, you can set the ball to hover at a depth halfway between the surface and the bottom of a pool or just set it at at whatever depth you desire. The ball would have strong grip handles so divers can retrieve it. This would be great to train for many water-related careers, for lung capacity building, or for general overall fitness.

Continuous Split Time Printer Friendly Version
With today's technology (speed radar, GPS, computer recognition) getting only a couple split times for a race against the clock (swimming, skiing, car racing) should be a thing of the past!
It should be no problem to calculate the current split time at any given moment and display it continuously on the screen. This would definitely add excitement to many races!
Reward: Anything.
