Ski-Hill Video/Photo Printer Friendly Version
So my friend and I are currently in Keystone Colorado snowboarding, and we want to get some cool pictures of ourselves snowboarding, but its a real hassle to have one person wait with a camera to get footage or pictures.
It hit us that since they use cameras on rollercoasters automatically, why not install video cameras/still cameras at cool locations around a ski hill (i.e. jumps, rails, big slopes)? This way, the cameras could automatically take cool pictures or video of people going down the hill, then the skiers could later search through the footage and retrieve pictures of themselves.
Reward: Tell me where they are being installed

Force Triggered Vertical Shoe Printer Friendly Version
The fact is everyone who plays basketball dreams of dunking a ball.
The shoe compromises of a special force triggered spring mechanism which contracts right after activation.
How do you activate it?
When we jump, the force we apply towards the ground is much harder than when we are running or moving about. If you look at MJ when he takes off, he literally slams his foot into the ground, that force downwards allows him to go upwards. So when you slam your foot onto the ground, the device picks it up, and releases a springing action similar to how a mouse trap is activated. The timing of the ejection and contraction action is so powerful that the shoe is back to normal even before you land.
This should be able to increase your vertical by a good 12-15 inches. Block shots, rebound, dunk..you name it..just jump like you normally do and naturally it causes a mild slam on the ground..(it'll take some practice on the thing).
The device will be a compact mechanism built into the front section of the shoe where most people use to jump. (I hope you dont jump with your heels.)
Oh yeah...careful not to slam your foot on the ground if you miss a shot.
Reward: NBA will get more interesting, Yao Ming could jump higher, MJ could make a come back, send me a pair. Oh yeah, probably new world records in long and high jump. :)

Real Action Real Movement Video Game Printer Friendly Version
A video game like playstation 2 only you would have wrist bands, ancle bands and a waist band that responds to the video game. I think, with technology the way it is so advanced today, you could probably make the bands like a remote control with an invisible laser that is directed toward the TV or the game box. So, instead of being a couch potatoe you are actually getting exercise. If the game requires you to run, you would actually have to jog in place to get it to run or walk. You could make a padded foot runner for those with sensitive feet. If the game requires you to punch, hit, or kick, you would have to get physical and do those moves to make the game work. I know my kids, whom are hyper, love this idea and so do their friends. Our kids are just sitting around not burning any energy, this makes for fat, out of shape adults in the future. I also like playing video games, but often don't play them because of the time consumption and not getting enough exercise.
