Wheelwalkers Printer Friendly Version
"No rollerblades in store". But what if you could quickly slip a walking pad onto the wheels of your rollerblades, and negotiate any store, stairs, gravel, etc. Borrowing the design from the skate guards used forever on ice skates, this could save the need for slinging shoes over your shoulder, not to mention a lot of time. The design of "Wheelwalkers" would have to have an angled base so that you could still manage the walking motion in the boot shell of the blades.
Reward: I need new rollerblades (size 14 wide), and wheelwalkers to go with them.

Fock Ball Printer Friendly Version
It is football with hockey equipment, without the skates. Played in snow, there is an area of tightly packed snow in the middle and deep snow on the outsides. The same rules as football, no downs or yards. Go until you get a touchdown or there is an intereception, fumble, or kicking the ball. Very fun game.
Reward: The reward is having a great time with your friends.

Stopper for Carving Skis Printer Friendly Version
Those who enjoy carving skiing might have already noticed this little problem: Carving without skiing poles can be a lot of fun, but as soon as you line up for the ski-lift, getting ahead can become really hazardous. Things are worse on an uneven surface; once your skis start following gravity, there's not much you can do against it (unless you find someone to hold on to). I am still waiting for an invention to prevent carving skis from moving when you don't want them to. Quite logically, such an invention would need a security mechanism to keep it from deploying while skiing.
Reward: Free stoppers for my family and free lifetime-replacement.
