Food-holding Bib
This is simply a bib that includes a space to hold some food. You could also add a cup holder for it to hold beverages. Care would need to be taken to avoid spills, especially when a person bends down (the bib should swing from the neck). Also consider how it would fit on ladies. Even small breasts could interfere with the fit.I think this could be made at home with a food grade plastic container if it is large enough and has one side that is flat and reasonably wide. You would just cut it up leaving the wide flat side and two or three inches of the bottom intact (side cuts should be a 45 degree angle down and away from the bib to prevent bending between it and the bowl). Then make holes for a rope at the top and thread it through and knot it at the ends to make the part that would hang over your head (make sure it's big enough to fit). You could bolt together the sides of several containers for a wider bib with more than one compartment. This would be great to hand out to guests at parties. You could have people wear different dips and approach each other to try some. It could really cut down on the need for space on a buffet table too.Reward: Post an instructable explaining how to make on one and where to find the containers

Smart Water Fountain
I'm thinking of creating a water fountain for a school or a company that when you walk up to it, it can automatically start dispensing about 250ml of water to the employee or student. This would be possible by rfid scanner built into the water fountain which collaborates with the employee's id or student id. If the user would require more water, then they would pass their id over the sensor. I also want to add the feature of a database which records the amount of water a user would drink, and email or sms them via bluetooth encouraging them to drink more water based on how much they would drink. Added to this is a component which checks the amount of water that would be dispensed so that a message can be sent to the maintenance department informing them that the filter needs changing. It therefore means that only students or employees would have access to the water fountain. If a visitor is in the building or school I'm saying they should have a visitor pass which would have the technology built into that card which would give them access to the water fountain. What do you think?Reward: Ease of use, and recording keeping of the amount of water used. On time changing of the filter.

Soup Pocket
A built in thermally insulated pocket on the front chest area of a jacket or coat that can be used to keep your soup hot. It could have a built in spoon as well to eat your soup on a cold day directly from the pocket. The inner pocket would be removable to allow for easy cleaning and soup refilling. I am getting hungry just thinking about the soup pocket.Reward: 2 Ski Jackets with Soup Pockets.

Elementary student cooks
My children are fortunate enough, thank God, to be served food at school but being picky, children do not always eat the food and a lot ends up being wasted. Why not make cooking lunch into a course (maybe a few classes could rotate days) - it could even be a hands on way to learn math, nutrition, science, social studies (about various culture's foods), etc.Reward: healthy children

The Mayo-up Mix
So I'm eating french fries for lunch today and I grab my ketchup packets and mayo packets and squeeze them out onto a napkin and mix them up so that i can dip my fries. Then the idea hits me... why on earth has no one came up with this? Ketchup mixed with mayo, put it in a bottle or a packet for on the go. I know of many people who do the same. Especially with seafood!Reward: Credit; Partnership
