Heated Tires
Okay what if someone could create a self heating tire, that automatically would heat up depending on the "icyness" (I don't know if that is a word...) of the road. This would melt the ice making it safe to drive on.Reward: Credit and a free pair for my car when I am old enough to drive.

Ultraviolet Automotive Headlamp Emitter
I propose that new vehicles be equipped with an ultraviolet (black light) system which will luminess road signs and pavement markers. These items would be coated with a flourescent type paint which illuminates under UV light. The headlamps would also not blind oncoming drivers. This, or course, would be in addition to the normal headlamp system.Reward: Product For Free And Safer Highways.

Road warmer on snow storms
When new paviment is put on roads, it should have a thin sourface of iron-net connected to an eolic battery which would warm the road up to 30 ºC . One kind of thermo effects which will absorb and store the wheels' heat once the cars cross at regular speed. This thin iron-net will work as a domestic home heater.Reward: dedicated to the prevention of accidents in winter

Transforming roads into electrical generators
It should be possible to convert the kinetic energy from automobiles into electricity by placing an aparatus in the roads.One option could be crystals to generate a piezoelectric effect that converts the pressure of the vehicles into an electric charge. This idea would require a chemical / civil engineering background which I don't posses.Reward: Notariety only, I am no position to implement this idea.

Deer warning system
I live in rural Wisconsin, USA, where there are many white-tailed deer in the woods and fields. Just about every person I know has hit a deer - dangerous to them (and the deer!) and costly, too. The deer have paths that they use.My idea is to equip cars with gps devices that the driver could activate by pushing a button every time he or she sees a deer. This information would be downloaded to a mapping system (GIS) and then as a person was driving a light would come on every time the driver approached a known deer crossing. The system could become more sophisticated if the display would offer gradations in its display (kind of like the terror alert system) – it would record the frequency of observations compared to the number of times the road was traveled. Although people do not always see the deer, the data might still be useful when the sample size is large enough. Most people drive the same roads every day to commute, so individuals would quickly develop their own individual maps. However, I also envision what could happen if many people in a community were contributing to a community or state-wide map, allowing a person to drive anywhere in the state and have little warnings when they cross a deer path. The DNR could use the data to track deer populations.Reward: If someone develops this idea, I would love to be recognized. A free system wouldn't hurt either. Thank you.
