The Creativity Pool is pursuing an idea of its own: a world where ideas can flow freely as an available resource for everyone - where ideas are not a self-contained luxury, but possess the power to change people's lives without being thwarted by the unimaginetiveness of a few.
Although this goal may still seem like an utopia, the Creativity Pool website exists in reality. In this reality, bills have to be paid and a 24-hour day has to be split carefully between duties, important projects, and hobbies. Everybody who has ever maintained a site knows that it's a lot of work. Supporting this site is not only an encouragement to work even harder, it will also make sure that more time can be invested to make the Creativity Pool a nicer place, add features, and promote it on the internet (thus increasing both the number of ideas and visitors who will use them).
