Hot packs exist already, but they keep food warm for a limited amount of time. A battery operated heater embedded in the bottom of the lunchbox will enable to warm the food whenever required.

Similar to metal detectors is it not possible to detect whether a person has a cigarette ie. a nicotine detector installed at the entrance of the place hospitals theatres etc so that the people can't get them in at all?

How about having a mirror which tells me how I should look before rather than changing my looks later.

A mirror which captures my image; has stored hairstyles, apparels images; I can choose from a menu and view my changed looks beforehand?

A green face to indicate spoilt milk-sounds fine. But how about
a message which is visible only when the milk is spoilt
like when the milk is fresh strip is blank; when its spoilt
a message "milk spoilt oh oh" apperas in red color may be.

Instead of vibrating the bed why dont they shake the person up?
By making the sleepy folks wear a vibrating strap set to shake
ur hands (gently of course) at a preset time.
One advantage is it wakes u up even in the middle of ur afternoon
nap on the chair.

Is there anything similar to macro in spread sheets that can be applied to mobile phones. Like I program it to dial a lengthy number the moment I press just a letter.
Say just pressing D dials my Dad's number.
U just have to remember one letter.
