I could see a waterproof metal detector being added to drums, the trick would be to avoid triggering it for metal elements on clothing. This is a good idea

There are contact readers now (in the UK anyway) so you can touch a special debit card near the reader instead of swiping. Good idea though for older cards

I had a similar idea which I posted on my site, I think there is definitely potential in this. It would be a small amount of energy, but I bet if you calculated the amount of kinetic energy around the world which could be utilised it would be quite a lot of power!

Good idea, although I have seen this. In the UK they have dispensers in airports and toilets where you can buy what they call a 'chewable toothbrush' which cleans your teeth without having to take a brush to them
