I think your confusing type one diabetes and type two diabetes Socrates. This therapy is only effective with type one diabetes where there is an autoimmune disorder that attacks the cells in your body that make the insulin that is needed to utilize glucose. This is opposed to type two diabetes whic...

Make small holes along the edges or corners on the glass which connected to a small rubber button. Press down the rubber button while putting the paper down to block the holes and release the rubber button. The small rubber button acts just like a vacuum bump. KWu ;D That's a pretty good idea, KWu!...

scotch tape works well. :-? Well, scotch tape will hold a sheet in position. Unfortunately sticky residue often remains on the document, making it difficult to handle thereafter, and also tends to build up on the copier. :~( This is not good, especially if the original is small and needs centering ...

;D That actually might do the trick, if you can use the phone while it is inside the case. If you have to take it out, then there are still a couple of issues, like it still being slippery to hold, and being at risk until it is put back in the case. :,-( It occurs to me that the same slippery phone ...

I don't really know of any other precautions than what you mentioned. What I was thinking was sort of like that less slick, only slightly rubbery plastic that is sometimes found on T.V. remotes, umbrella handles, and sometimes those coffee thermoses that are made to fit in car cupholders. It's only...

These are terrific toilet flush ideas! My idea was to inject a small amount of a bacteria neutralizing agent into the toilet bowl for urine (via a separate control handle). That would eliminate all odor and bacteria (could even clarify the water color), so there would be no need to flush any amount...

That would do it! ;D (they would have to avoid latex because so many people are sensitive to it) This sets me to thinking: I wonder how feasible, inexpensive it might be to use that liquid dip for coating the handles and grip areas of tools? Besides not sealing up any needed ports (speaker, micropho...

Thank you very much for the positive feedback on my contribution to this thread :> . I trust you figured out I wrote 'subscriptions' when I meant 'prescriptions'. My brain does that. :S Besides the laser scanner checkouts and pharmacy setups, I've also seen touch screens in the produce department wh...

Yep. Sticky surface. Something that isn't going to slip away from me when I reach for it and skitter across a counter or desktop before smashing to the floor. Not so sticky that I'm going to have to pry paper or other stuff off of it or break out a sweat trying to get it loose. Just something to mak...

Thanks for the comment, Steve. I guess I didn't explain my problem quite clearly enough. It is not the ball itself that is a problem, it is the housing that holds the ball, buttons and any other controls. I want that to stay where I put it, until I specifically move it for my specific need. With the...

I want someone to come up with a trackball with non-slippery surfaces, or a jacket or spray-on deal to make the surfaces non-slippery. i do graphics and layout with a trackball on the left and a graphics tablet on the left and have become fully ambidextrous from doing so. i like these ideas and have been very curious about the dvorak layout, but have never had a chance to try it on. one other factor i like in 'alternative' keyboards is being able to separate the halves for each hand to the most comfortable distance for me. like everything else in this world, the setu...

this could also be handled with a touch screen, a display for the counter personnel like at fast food stores, and an overhead that lists completed orders ready for pickup. you'd also need to include customer paging ability in case they are out of something you ordered and need to find out if you wan...

Every cell phone i've ever put my hand on has been slippery, therefore prone to sliding off of things it is set upon at the least provocation, slipping out of pockets, purses and even your hands. What i'd really like is for the manufacturers to add even just the slightest bit of unslippery factor to...
