there are other solutions for not having enough light around, such a the small LED flashlights that you could put on your keychain.

the idea for the alarm when the door is open too long is kind of a good idea...but the possibility of having the refrigerator list off what there is to eat in it is a near impossibility at the time, there is no scaner of any sort that could figure out what food in there, so it would have to manually...

to me it seems like delivering newspapers would be a waste of advanced robotics and anima-troncis (yes, i just made that up but it is robotics designed after animals). the complexity of such a system, and the cost would counter act the benfits of such a system.

a number of cell phones already have a feature like this, any device with the windows mobile 6 operating system will automatically set to a certain auido profile during events that are maked as busy in the calander.
