I did this when I moved into my first apartment: I could not find anything to clean my dishes and pans - so I took an empty plastic milk carton, rinsed it out, cut a few ovals shapes out of it, put two of the ovals together, place them inside a paper bag and ironed the paper bag with a high setting for a minute or so, now melted and hardened - I trimmed the oval and used it as a pot scraper. Works like a charm!
