Well I got to thinking...why doesn't a company make jars that unscrew half way down...that way when there is a little bit of mayo or jam or peanut butter (or any other jarred item) you can just unscrew the bottom portion of the jar, toss the top portion and re-apply the lid to the bottom half of the jar containing the contents. That way you save room and avoid messy hands. Just a thought!

Thats an awesome idea, Its so simple, I can bieleve no ones ever thought of it befor, great idea.

know why? because the companies don't want to spend more money to make special jars it would cost them a little more. After a while a few pennies start to add up.
