High Definition contact lenses

The object is to view television like when you wear 3D glasses, only objects are projected in High Def. They could come in contacts or actual glasses. Programs that are broadcasted in HD would be viewable in HD with the lenses. Programs not broadcasted in HD would be viewed in Standard Def. The benefit would be to not have to purchase set top boxes that produce high def programming. Companies like ABC, NBC, etc, could just send the images over the airways and they could be viewed via these lenses.
