You insert an electromagnet on the base of the car, and then replace the wheels of the car with high powered fans, or propellers. You would have to have roads that are magnetic, and need your electromagnet to be quite strong. Also, you would need to modify the vehicle slightly, but not an insane amount

1. You can place the electro magnets on the sides of the cars as well to reduce scrapes.
2. Fans and propellers are, in fact, the same things.
3. Those fans would have to have a really strong power source.

Wouldn't the magnet attract, say, metal objects on the road like:
-bins
-cans (they'd have to be made of magnetic metal though)
-watches
-lamp posts
-Bananas
-wait did i say bananas
-i must be hungry

get the picture? And any metal parts of the car would be affected by the magnet. a lot of power would be needed to run the car as well.
