Our origins (Hair and Eye Colour)

What if originally, people with brown hair came from forests, people with blonde hair came from beaches, etc...and do you think it's possible that, since we humans are aliens ourselves in a way, that we have adapted by changing hair and/or eye colour to match our environment over time...? It sort of makes sense really I suppose, unless hair colour and eye colour are factually known to originate from something else, or does nobody really know..?
