A Breathalyzer tube that stops your ignition switch and will not let you drive if you fail to prove that your not legally drunk or that your breath doesn't trigger a computerized synthetic NOSE that senses chemicals through the tube. Any THC, Cocaine, Ecstasy, PCP, Heroin, or other banned controlled substance will not let the keys start the car and also disables bypassing the tube and bypassing the ignition by completely shutting down the electrical system. This car would only run if the ignition wire, the NOSE, and the car battery were all connected and agree to start.

Nearly 13,000 Americans die in traffic accidents each year. Now, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) opens new front in the war against drunk driver, and begins to help the association of car manufacturers and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

A new highway bill pending in Congress would instruct the 50 states that require all drivers convicted of driving under the influence of equipping their cars with interlock systems to stop a vehicle in a specific quantity alcohol is detected.

There are already locking systems now about 150,000 cars in the United States, placed there for drivers with multiple DUI convictions. But the proposed mandate of expanding the use of interlocks exponentially MADD statistics show that nearly 1.5 million Americans are arrested each year on DUI charges, making it the No. 1 offense which Americans are arrested.
