A laptop that utilises the space behind the LCD screen with a lamp and another lid or top = SCANNER! Plus the utilization of the underneath of the laptop for a = LASER PRINTER. Would it be inconceivable to have these as STANDARD and not as stand alones considering the efforts to integrate every thing digital into the palm of your hand via a MOBILE PHONE or PALM.I can see the inevitable weight issue, but, if I could perform ALL of my duties away from the concrete jungle and had to choose between applying my administrative tasks behind a desk in a building or a park bench;beach or lakeside I know what I would choose!!!

Believe it or not, the laptop scanner idea has already been submitted here. Seems like there really is a demand for this one!
