The idea is to have a website where people can register their mobile phones and input an area they typically reside/ work.

The mobile numbers can then be used by the police to issue urgent missing persons photos, criminals photos, stolen car details etc to people in those target areas.
With a number to call/ text with sightings.

This may help people get involved in resolving crimes quickly.
