Just like real brick and mortar malls. This would be the equivalent, but set in cyberspace. You login to the mall and instantly have access to an unlimited number of virtual shops. You can walk around in real time with other shoppers all over the globe, chat, interact with them. The eMall makes its money by charging the businesses a small fee.

Just trying to separate the new from the already existing... As you may know, eMalls basically already exist, but you can't walk around in them. So is your idea about providing eMalls with a graphical, 3D interface? Plus the interaction with other shoppers? (Just imagine all the virtual stalkers in the virtual women's underwear department! ) Or rebuilding actual shopping malls on the net?
