I thought, instead of waking up to an annoying bleep that seems to go on for ever, wouldnt it be so much better if you could be woken up gently by the sunlight. Have your curtains set to a certain time (the time you would get up). Then they open and you are woken up by the sunlight. Just in case you sleep through the sunlight, have a back up alarm clock set 10mins after the curtians open. This would eliminate all of though days were you wake up grumpy.
