The aft of the aircraft is the most uncomfortable area due to the curve fuselage. Most of the seats are smaller in pitch and living space. I would like to suggest the big airlines (not low cost) to convert the aft area into a no-frill zone. They could charge for the food and entertainment. Furthermore, these big airlines have got the network and infrastructure readily available for both long and short haul destinations.
