Everyone has different shaped ears and we all hear sound differently because of this and if you position your ears with your hands you can tell that you can pick up sound better and differently due simply to the shape. If we construct oblong shapes and place them around your ears with a front head band holding them in place then each oblong shape will either help us hear and/or change the sounds we hear. This would be more convenient when listening to various input in different environments. They also change pitch and frequency and other aspects to sound. Music is best heard by having a more round open shape rather flat like head phones create for example. The other option is to have ear buds that do not damage hearing, but you get only one type of sound. With these inexpensive bands around your ears you can choose the way you want to hear simply by changing the oblong shape of the band around your ears by choosing a different band. You can also block unwanted background noises.
