I take my dog for walks around the local lake, and of course encounter plenty of other dog-walkers. I wave at the dog walker, hoping that they will wave back or give me some indication as to whether their dog is friendly to other dogs and humans ( plenty ARE NOT!)
Here's my idea: if your dog is FRIENDLY, WAVE BACK.
If your dog is NOT FRIENDLY, HOLD UP YOUR FIST.
It'd be very helpful if this were to become a universal code for dog owners/walkers and other pedestrians, bicyclists etc.
