Rags: a Non-Profit

If I simply outgrow or don't want old clothes, I happily donate them. However, when I get clothes, mostly pants but occasionally other items, they get so many holes that I don't even want to donate them. However, I hate to put the items into the garbage, since often there are still usable amounts of fabric.

I would like to see a non-profit organization that would allow individuals to drop off unwanted fabric, be it torn clothing or scraps from an earlier project, etc. The employees would then cut and sew the fabric into a variety of items - whether that is quilts or clothing, possibly even patched clothing, or other items that can be made into usable or decorative items. The resulting items could then be sold.

Reward: A place to take my old fabrics.
